ME1 Legendary Mode – Adept (Magician) Paragon Build ✨🧠

Paragon Adept = pure biotic control and protection. Less “gun,” more “crowd control and safety” for the whole team.

Role & Difficulty

Squad control and protection through biotics.

Best for: Players who enjoy tactical play, keeping enemies helpless while the squad cleans up.

Early Game (Levels 1–10) – Biotic Foundation

Goal: Get reliable crowd control plus a bit of survivability.

Priorities:

  • Lift – 4–6 points

Your best early control tool. Use on groups or dangerous elites to protect your team.

  • Warp – 3–4 points

Helps shred shields/barriers and boosts damage over time.

  • Pistols – 3–4 points

Stable mid‑range damage while waiting on power cooldowns.

  • Barrier – 3–4 points

Personal defense so you can safely peek and cast.

  • Electronics – 3–4 points

Extra shields + the ability to open basic locked containers and doors for squad progression.

Mid Game (Levels 11–20) – Control & Safety Core

Goal: Become the “no one moves unless I say so” support.

By around level 20, you aim for:

  • Lift – 8–10 points

Long, reliable float times. Your main “save the squad” button.

  • Warp – 7–8 points

Strong protection‑breaker and damage amplifier vs armored/shielded enemies.

  • Throw – 6–8 points

Secondary control: peel enemies off allies, knock them out of cover or off ledges.

  • Singularity – 6–8 points

Area lockdown. Great for clustered enemies — suspends them while your team picks targets.

  • Barrier – 6–7 points

Keeps you safe in exposed positions so you can keep casting.

Late Game (Levels 21–30) – Master Paragon Controller

Goal: Complete the biotic toolkit and survive any chaos.

From 21–30, finish and polish:

  • Max Lift and Warp

Your main tools for safety + damage. With these maxed, almost any group is manageable.

  • Max Throw and Singularity

Full control suite. You decide when enemies can shoot — often they just… don’t.

  • Barrier – 7–8 points

Strong protection so you can play aggressively with positioning when needed.

  • Spectre Training – 6–8 points

Passive bonuses plus better Paragon/Charm checks in key conversations.

  • Optional leftovers:

    • Extra ranks in Pistols if you want more consistent weapon damage

    • Any remaining biotic passives to further improve cooldowns and effectiveness

Paragon Supportive Playstyle

  • Always open with control: Lift/Singularity first, then let your squad DPS safely.

  • Save Throw for peeling threats off squishy allies (Tali, Garrus, Liara).

  • Keep Barrier up before stepping into exposed positions to cast.

  • Think of yourself as “battlefield safety officer” — your first job is to stop enemies from ever getting a fair fight.
